Architecture Engineering Workshop II.
Professionals with a Value Decisions Certification have the skills to make decisions based on finding and prioritizing a set of Solutions that optimally satisfies a set of quantified Stakeholder Values or Product Values, numerically, with evidence, risks and uncertainties. Using a Value Decision Table, they can facilitate a Process between managers and engineers to solicit, prioritize, communicate and reason for the decisions taken. This skill set will Add tremendous value to any decision taking Process. A Scrum Product owner or a project manager can prioritize and optimize a Product backlog or any set of Solutions to be implemented.

Professionals with a Value Delivery Certification (Evo or Evolutionary Project Delivery) have the skills to manage the development team to deliver real Value to Stakeholders, early (next week) and frequently (every week). They know how to use a Value Delivery Table to estimate and track Value delivered to Stakeholders over time. While others are focusing on delivering the right Functions, a certified Value Delivery professional leads his/her team to deliver real Value to Stakeholders.

Hvor mye tjener du på å lykkes i alle prosjekter? Hva er verdien å lykkes i prosjekter? Velkommen til Certification Workshop med Tom og Kai Gillb.

Prosjekter får budsjetter for å skape verdier. Gilb kaller disse forretnings- og interessentverdier. I IT-prosjekter skapes normalt disse verdiene ved å levere produkter med funksjoner som støtter brukerne, produkter som er ment å hjelpe brukerne til å gjøre det de ønsker å gjøre (funksjonen), bedre. Vi kan kalle det “bedre produktverdier".
Eksempler på produktverdier er brukervennlighet, ytelse, sikkerhet, tilpasningsevne, robusthet, utvidbarhet, pålitelighet osv. Funksjoner og produktverdier forklarer ikke hvordan produktet er laget, men forklarer hvor godt produktet gjør det produktet gjør (funksjon). Vi kan kalle disse for sluttresultatene vi ønsker å få ut av produktet. Forretnings-, interessent- og produktverdier (sluttresultater) som skal skapes, definerer et prosjekts suksess.
