Tom Gilb is independent teacher, consultant and Writer.
He is the Author of nine books and hundreds of published papers, and is recognized as the founder or major driver of several technical disciplines such as 'software metrics' and 'Evolutionary project management.' Tom is recognized as the grandfather of Agile Project Management methods.
In the 80s, Tom helped IBM establish pioneering methods in quantifying Qualities. His methods have been widely and successfully adopted by startups, charities, and large companies such as Intel, IBM, HP, Boeing, Ericsson, and Credit Suisse.
A team of volunteers; Ashiq, Jon, Adore, Kay, Diane, Nancy, Dorota, Sailendra, Valentina, (Lisa) Liu, Neil and Soheir are currently volunteering to creating an online, browsable, linked up, version of our concept glossary. It is a work in progress, but you can take a look now.

For the weekend Tom is off to TedxTrondheim to hold a keynote, and Kai is off to Amsterdam for a Requirements workshop on Monday.
